THE ROLE OF HAYDER ALIYEV'S OIL STRATEGY IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY
Currently, the discussions around the concept of development of Azerbaijan until 2020, the main goals to be defined in this concept also draw strength from the ideas of Heydar Aliyev. The great leader's ideas, his strategy, his dreams, which were further enriched by the head of state Ilham Aliyev, based on modern realities, have already become reality. As noted by President Ilham Aliyev, the country's energy policy is based on Heydar Aliyev's oil strategy, and this strategy has been adapted and enriched to meet the modern requirements of the world. It should also be noted that the organization and implementation of planned geological exploration works in the Caspian since the beginning of the 70s is one of Heydar Aliyev's unparalleled historical services. Today, it can be firmly said that Heydar Aliyev's work in the oil industry, as well as in all areas of the republic's life, was the basis of his far-sighted plans - his intentions to lead Azerbaijan to the "Contract of the Century", that is, to the independence and prosperity of our people. Negotiations with foreign oil companies interested in Azerbaijani oil since the end of the 80s were about to end in the spring of 1993.

РОЛЬ НЕФТЯНОЙ СТРАТЕГИИ ГАЙДЕРА АЛИЕВА В ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОМ РАЗВИТИИ СТРАНЫ
В настоящее время дискуссии вокруг концепции развития Азербайджана до 2020 года, основных целей, которые будут определены в этой концепции, также опираются на идеи Гейдара Алиева. Идеи великого лидера, его стратегия, его мечты, которые были дополнительно обогащены главой государства Ильхамом Алиевым, исходя из современных реалий, уже стали реальностью. Как отметил Президент Ильхам Алиев, энергетическая политика страны основана на нефтяной стратегии Гейдара Алиева, и эта стратегия была адаптирована и обогащена с учетом современных требований мира. Следует также отметить, что организация и проведение плановых геологоразведочных работ на Каспии с начала 70-х годов является одной из беспрецедентных исторических заслуг Гейдара Алиева. Сегодня можно твердо сказать, что работа Гейдара Алиева в нефтяной отрасли, как и во всех сферах жизни республики, лежала в основе его дальновидных планов – намерений привести Азербайджан к «Контракту века». , то есть к независимости и процветанию нашего народа. Переговоры с иностранными нефтяными компаниями, интересующимися азербайджанской нефтью с конца 80-х годов, близились к завершению весной 1993 года.
