THE IMPACT OF THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR ON THE MIGRATION PROCESS IN EUROPE
SUMMARY
In modern times, migration processes and the problems caused by it are very actual. The migration process has impact on the economic, political and social spheres of the country where it takes place, as well as the region. The Russia-Ukraine war, which is considered the most urgent issue of recent times, and the refugee problem in the European region caused by it, is one of the most important issues. It should be noted that since February 2022, this war, which caused millions of Ukrainians to leave their place of residence, is still going on. This problem has led to aggravation of a number of problems not only in Ukraine, but also in countries receiving refugees.
From this point of view, in the article, the Ukrainian refugee problem is analyzed based on the available statistical indicators, their distribution by countries is given, and the reasons for the main migration directions are indicated. At the same time, the possibilities of return of Ukrainian refugees and their current situation in the countries where they are are shown.
