Əfqanıstan-Pakistan münaqişəsinin başlanmasının kökü 1947-ci ildə Pakistanın yaradılmasından bəri aktual olan dövlət sərhədləri, milli özünü müəyyənləşdirmə və regional hakimiyyət kimi həssas məsələlərdən götürür. Əsas müzakirə iki ölkə arasında puştun və bəlucistan ərazilərini ayıran "Dyuranda xətti" ilə əlaqədardı. Məsələnin diplomatik yolla həllinə cəhd edilməsinə baxmayaraq, hər iki tərəfin arzuları və milli maraqları bir sıra gərginliklərə və münaqişələrə səbəb oldu. Bu məsələyə yanaşma üsulları, sülhsevər dialoqlardan hərbi əməliyyatlara qədər, bu məsələnin mürəkkəbliyini və çoxbucaqlılığını göstərir, bu da uzun müddət hər iki ölkə üçün aktual idi.

The beginning of the Afghan-Pakistani conflict
Summary
The inception of the Afghan-Pakistani conflict stems from delicate issues surrounding state borders, national self-determination, and regional
authority, which have been pertinent since the establishment of Pakistan in 1947. Main discussions and disagreements revolved around the "Durand Line", which separated the Pashtun and Baloch territories between the two countries. Despite various diplomatic attempts to address the issue, the ambitions and national interests of both sides led to a series of tensions and conflicts.
Approaches to resolving this issue, ranging from peaceful dialogues to military actions, attest to the complexity and multifaceted nature of the problem, which remained relevant for both nations over an extended period.
